Description of the problem	My 2013 hyundai sonata just suddenly and completely died. About 3-4 days prior it had started making a knocking sound and would blow puffs of smoke from the exhaust on cranking and heavy acceleration. This all started right after my husband changed the oil. I got in the car to take my kids to school and while going down the road at 60 mph down a rural road, it completely cut off. I coasted off of the road, waited a few seconds, and cranked the car. It acted fine, but the knocking was definitely still there. After my husband got home from work he was going to check the car out and see if he could figure out what was wrong. He decided to drive the car down the road, and the next thing i know, i am getting a phone call from him asking me to come pick him up. The engine had locked up (seized) and the car had just died while going down the road. Completely died, wouldn't do anything and we had to call a tow truck to come get it and take it to a mechanic's shop, which is where it still is. This car only has 35,000 miles on it and i have never seen any kind of indicator light come on signalling that there is anything wrong with the car. Nothing! Not the oil light, nothing! I have read so very many forums and complaints that sound exactly like my situation. It all seems very shady to me. It cannot be a coincidence that the same exact thing has happened to so many.
