| Description of the problem | I was driving down a hill that was not very steep, in good weather, with cruise control on at 60 mph. As the car went down the hill, the speed increased to 80,at which point in time i used my brake to slow down. The same thing has happened on numerous occasions with me alone and with others in the car, including a staff member of the dealership, who told me that this was normal behavior for a hyundai sonata and for the cruise control on his own vehicle. If i cancel cruise control in the middle of a hill, speed decreases or holds steady --it does not accelerate. |
