| Description of the problem | I was on my way to work on i-65 in birmingham, alabama and my sunroof exploded. It sounded like a bomb going off and shattered pieces of glass hit the cars behind me. Nothing hit my car. I wasn't going under an overpass, nor were there trucks around me. The dealership nor hyundai will replace it so i will have to file a claim with my insurance and pay a $500 deductible. Hyundai has recalled other vehicles (veloster) for this exact same reason but will not fix the situation with the sonatas! My car has the panoramic sunroof, just like the velosters. This is an extremely dangerous situation and hyundai needs to address it!! This needs to be investigated because many people are having the same issue. |
