Description of the problem	Popping noise when turning the steering wheel left or right while the car is in motion especially in a tight maneuver when parking or backing up. After reading about many complaints on the internet where some drivers have even lost t;heir power steering completely, i am of the opinion that a recall is warranted as this is definitely a safety issue. The culprit in most of the complaints seems to be an inexpensive part made of rubber or neoprene called a "flexible motor driven power steering coupling". As this part begins to fail, serious steering problems begin to appear which could lead to injury or even death.
