Description of the problem	2012 hyundai sonata. Consumer writes in regards to manufacturers false mpg claims and vehicle acceleration issues. smd the consumer noticed, when the vehicle was cold, it seemed as though the vehicle could not decided if it wanted to be in electric or gas mode, as it was chugging as the consumer was trying to drive up the hill. The dealer informed the consumer, that a computer upgrade needed to be performed on the vehicle. After the computer was upgraded, the consumer experienced another failure. In october 2015, the vehicle once again stopped without any warning. The lights flashed on the dash, with a message to stop safely and check the hybrid drive. jb
