Description of the problem	I currently own a 2012 hyundai sonata 2. 4 in which i purchased from a dealer and the car is currently using oil. Under further investigation i have read up on the recall for the engines and see that many were replaced under a "recall" i contacted hyundai recall support and they told me to take it to a local dealer in which i did. My car had the airbag recall performed and i asked about the engine recall in in turn the service manager told me that the engine had been "checked" by previous dealer but not replaced under the recall. The car has all the symptoms of the recall needing to be performed on the engine assembly but they refuse to help me because the dealer states its outside of the recall milage slot. I feel as if there is a recall on the engine as a safety recall that the engine should have been replaced by the previous dealer before it was sold from them. Instead i purchase the vehicle and unknowingly have a potential safety hazard for me and my family. I believe a safety recall is a safety recall. Shouldn't matter the milage. It's almost as if hyundai is saying "well if it's made it this far then screw it" the vehicle is using oil and has metal shavings in oil
