Description of the problem	Brake lights fail to light when needed. Also, the esc alert comes on intermittently. When the esc light comes on, the brake lights do not work. However, the brake lamps have not worked when the esc is not on. Seems related but not entirely exclusive. Do know that there was a brake lamp defect for the 2006-07 hyundai sonatas and there was a recall. This issue has not been resolved.
