Description of the problem	Car started making a loud clunking and rattling noise in the steering wheel column driving over bumps or tracks. When the car was stationary and in neutral, the column was very loose when turned. Steering while driving became extremely loose and a safety concern. The problem was diagnosed as a bad flexible coupling which needed to be replaced.
