Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2011 hyundai sonata. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to restart on the first attempt. The contact was unable to recall when the recall notification was received, and was unaware that there was a recall until the failure occurred. The vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v568000 (engine). The vehicle was taken to the dealer (lake norman hyundai, 02520 chartwell center dr, cornelius, nc, 28031) and the recall repair was completed. The contact was advised that the oil level was low and provided an oil change. The vehicle did not produce the diagnostic codes through the inspection that required replacing the engine; however, the recall remedy failed to repair the vehicle. Four days later, the failure recurred three more times. The vehicle was able to restart on the first attempt after one failure. Two other times, the vehicle restarted after a few attempts. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but no diagnostic codes were found. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that they could not do anything based on the information that the dealer provided. The vehicle was not registering the failure codes and no additional assistance was offered. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
