| Description of the problem | The passenger side power door lock on my 2011 hyundai sonata with 40,000 miles suddenly malfunctioned. There was no sign of error until it simply stopped working. In order to lock the passenger side door you must do it manually. You must also unlock it manually as well. This is a problem because the car does not have a key hole on the passenger side door. If the passenger needed to get in the car in a hurry it would be difficult as the driver would have to enter first and reach across to unlock the passenger side door manually. Also, it makes it difficult to secure the vehicle because the driver must reach across the vehicle to lock it whenever leaving the vehicle. |
