| Description of the problem | I had to replace the rear brake pads on my 2010 sonata at 16,794 miles on both sides. I had to replace the rear pads and rotors on both sides at 23,156 miles. I had to replace the right rear brake line, pad, rotor and caliper at 25,854 miles. There has been no issues on front brakes, however, i have had to service my rear brakes 3 times. I bought this vehicle brand new from my local hyundai dealer and it had 4 miles on it. I have spent $768. 80 on my rear brakes since i have bought this vehicle in february of 2010. There is clearly a problem with the brake components on this car. The rear brakes should not wear out before the front brakes, and especially a vehicle that has 16,000 miles on it. |
