Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2008 hyundai sonata. The contact turned the ignition on and the "passenger air bag off" warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. In addition, the "fasten seat belt" warning indicator illuminated while the front passenger seat belt was worn by an occupant. The failures occurred intermittently. The warning indicators remained illuminated until the engine was turned off. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. There was a recall under nhtsa campaign id number 08v161000 (air bags). However, the vin was excluded from the recall defect. The vehicle has not been repaired at this time. The failure mileage was 70,443.
