| Description of the problem | Seat belt light came on about 2 years ago due to a faulty seat switch. Hyundai repaired the seat at no charge. Now the seat belt light has come and the dealer says that the seat is to fault again. Hyundai refuses to fix the seat switch again unless i pay for it, and that it is no a safety hazard. I maintain that it is a safety problem because if the air bags really become defective, we will have no warning. Hyundai has extended their warranty on this problem to 15 years and/or 250000 miles, but they will only repair it once. |
