| Description of the problem | After starting the ignition, the red "air bag" light near odometer stays lit. Orange "passenger air bag off" light stays lit even when someone is sitting in the passenger seat. These lights remain on regardless of whether the car is stationary or in motion. I had this problem once before a few years ago. The dealer removed the passenger seat and sent it off to be fixed. The issue also happens periodically if something gets stuck under the passenger seat. The wires and connectors under the passenger seat are exposed. However, this time there is nothing stuck under the seat and the air bag lights remain on. |
