Description of the problem	I own a 2006 hyundai sonata 6 cyl, made in the usa, and i am having a problem with my driver side sun visor, it started toward the end of my warranty, of 60,000 mi., and i intended to take it to a dealer, but had to make several trips to columbus ohio and put mileage on in excess of the 60000 mil. I now have about 65000 mi. On the car. I took it back to a dealer and they said it was out of warranty and they would not fix it. I believe this is a serious safety issue, because i almost caused a serious accident going to columbus on my last trip when a car cut me off at an exit on i-75 and in the midst of trying to maintain control of my car, the sun visor dropped all the way down and i lost control and ran onto the soft shoulder of the exit ramp; had it not been for an alert driver behind me, i could have been killed. The problem with the sun visor is a design flaw in the spring design which holds the visor in position it fails and expresses it's failure in that going over a bump or stopping suddenly causes it to drop to its full down position interfering with driver visibility; and i don't think safety equipment should be warranteed only to the first period of warranty but for a reasonable life of the vehicle. I have found over 75 people on line who have the same problem with the same make and model of hyundai. Please check out the internet complaints and you will see for yourself.
