| Description of the problem | The "airbag" light came on and the vehicle was brought to the dealership for service. It was reported back to me that the seat belt sensor had failed, causing the airbag light to come on (and it was not covered on my extended warranty). From researching on the internet, it appears that this is a common problem with the hyundai sonata 2006. Hyundai refuses to do anything about it even though it is potentially a very dangerous malfunction. |
