Description of the problem	My 2006 hyundai sonata lost control after driving through a patch of black ice. As a result, there was a collision with a fire hydrant, which cause severe front end damage to the car, as well as the fire hydrant. My driver side air bag never deployed. I have injured my right thumb from the impact of the collision, resulting in a torn ligament and a great deal of pain. I believe this injury could have been avoided if the air bag had deployed. The car still remains in a repair shop, where none of the replacement parts seem to line up correctly. My insurance company and the repair shop are both aware of the air bag not deploying. The repair shop claimed they can not look into the cause of why the air bag never deployed. The insurance company could not provide any help either. I won't bother consulting the hyundai dealer since they can not provide any solutions, from what i've read, as well as having other unrelated problems with the incompetence of the dealership in the past.
