Description of the problem	I was approaching a red light while driving in city traffic, traveling 35-40 mph, when i took my foot off the gas to slow down and prepare to stop for traffic and the red light. When i applied my brakes, the pedal went all the way to the floor and the vehicle would not slow down or stop, warning chimes began to go off. I swerved to avoid hitting several vehicles in front of me as i applied the emergency brake, which only gave enough resistance to slow but not stop the car. I was able to get my vehicle to slow to a stop when it started to roll backwards, the only way i was able to keep the vehicle from rolling backwards was to shift it in to park. Once i was safely stopped, i observed in the information notification center a brake system failure message, which was the reason for the warning chimes. I contacted hyundai roadside assistance and they towed it to the nearest hyundai dealership. This is the 2nd complete brake failure in 6 months, 9th time in and over 30 days, and counting, for brake issues.
