Description of the problem	Vehicle blew a head gasket. Mechanic said rear bank head bolts were not torqued to spec. Was of the opinion it came off the assembly line that way. I never had it max to red level on overheating and was shocked that the engine was damaged. The vehicle began to sporadic temp spikes then back down before i could even pull off. This happened on residential streets, on the interstate, anywhere really. This happened one day, then would be fine for a week, then started it again. I was on my way home from church and the engine temp started acting sporadically. I would pull off and it would cool within a second or 2. I tried to make it home, but the engine temp gauge stopped cooling back down to quickly. I called aaa and had it towed to a mechanic. Blown head gasket. Almost $5,000 to fix. I have taken prestine care of this auto. My 2nd hyundai vehicle but now i'm looking at other brands. A little gun shy of hyundais now.
