| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owned a 2012 hyundai santa fe. The contact stated while driving 50 mph, the vehicle start to make an abnormally loud sound coming from the engine. The vehicle started shaking. The contact pulled the vehicle to side of the roadway, turned off and restarted the vehicle however, the failure persisted. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with engine failure, and stated that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
