| Description of the problem | Several months ago, the check engine light came on. I took the car to the dealer and while nothing was wrong with the engine, i needed to pay $1000 to repair the sensor because i needed my car emission inspected. In the last month, while on a road trip, the check engine light came on again and the car just lost power and stalled. When we restarted the car, the light was still on but went off the next day. Since then, the check engine light comes on randomly and the fuel gauge jumps all over the place. It will indicate i have 88 miles to empty and then jump back up to 130. The check engine light will come on one day and be off the next. |
