Description of the problem	My check engine light came on. When i took it to my mechanic the reason was my fuel sensor is not working. My gas gauge does not tell me how much gas is in the car. The repair would be costly and requires the removal of the gas tank. Due to this defect, my car will not pass md emissions testing. The gas gauge works intermittently to let me know how much fuel is in the car so i need to monitor how many miles between fill ups in order to not run out of gas. It operates sporadically while moving or stopped.
