Description of the problemThe vehicle's esc will come on intermittently while driving and the vehicle appears to apply the brakes causing the vehicle to veer violently to the right (a very scary and potentially dangerous situation, especially at higher speeds.) the vehicle was brought to freehold hyundai shortly after i purchased it in 2007 and it took over a week to presumably diagnose and fix the problem. This is an intermittent problem that has recently started again. I can drive the car for weeks with no issues and then suddenly you are driving and the problem occurs. The car is no longer under warranty and hyundai wants to charge a fee just to diagnose a problem that is well documented on the internet and should already have a resolution in place. . In my opinion, this is a major safety issue and should be subject to recall.
