| Description of the problem | While on a family road trip, my santa fe started clattering and making noise. It had been running fine and no indicator lights were on. The car just quit in the middle and we had to coast to safety on the side of the road where we waited for hours for hyundai roadside assistance to tow us to the local dealership. The engine is blown due to a recall. It has now been longer than 60 days and hyundai does not have an engine to replace it. I have learned that there is now a second recall involving a faulty hood latch which is also a safety hazard. |
