| Description of the problem | The panoramic sunroof had exploded when i was driving on expressway about 60 mph. It was a very loud noise and luckily no cars were around. We took exit and found out that part of the roof blown away and the remaining glass shattered. Luckily no injuries as sunroof's shade guard protected us from the bits of glass. I drove slowly to the hyundai dealer where i leased the car. Even though this genesis under full warranty, dealer (hyundai motors) refused to cover this under warranty. I do not understand why this happened. We have not opened the sunroof for a long time. There must be a design defect. This is really a safety concern. Auto makers should recall before people suffer serious injuries. *bf |
