| Description of the problem | The rear center seat belt anchor and the left seat belt anchor are reversed. When one passenger fastens there seat belt it covers the anchor point for the other passenger. The only way to connect both is to twist the seat belts across each other. In the event of an accident, the applied forces would not be in line with the seat belt anchor points and would most likely not conform to the intended designs parameters. The hyundai dealer has looked at the problem and agrees that the anchor points are backwards. Thus far hyundai has refused to acknowledge that there is any problem. |
