| Description of the problem | At 31,500 the air conditioning compressor failed. There are numerous posts from other owners about the compressor failing. Hyundai will not share the tsb's about this known issue. An ac compressor should last at least 50,000 miles and in reality a lot more miles. The vehicle was in my garage parked and the compressor went bad. I found out the next time i started the car and the compressor did not work. The compressor insides were plastic according to the hyundai mechanic jack that worked on the car at san tan hyundai. The federal government should not let hyundai sell junk then charge for replacements. |
