Description of the problem	I was driving down the highway at approximately 70 mph at just a little past dusk when out of nowhere i heard a very loud pop. At first i assumed that my windshield had been hit by a large rock or something that had been kicked up off the road and i immediately began looking for any sign of damage. I saw nothing and continued driving. A minute later i hear a whistling noise. Trying to figure out where it's coming from, i eventually partially slide open the roof panel and discover that there is a gaping hole in the sunroof. The more i drive, and the more bumps i hit, more and more glass keeps falling. Fortunately, my sliding roof panel was closed, so it prevented any of the glass from falling on me. It could be a big safety issue for glass to randomly shatter a driver who is on the highway. Fortunately for me, it had just stopped raining 30 minutes before this happened. I have filed an insurance claim, and they're going to fix it in a few days, but it's going to cost more than my $500 deductible. One estimate i received was for $600. I've known very many people who drive cars with sunroofs and have owned prior, and i have never seen or heard of this happening on others. Here's hoping it doesn't rain between now and when it's fixed.
