| Description of the problem | Manual transmission sometimes fails causing unsafe situations for drivers and passengers. Failures include transmission not engaging requested gear, failing to disengage gear, grinding while engaging gear. Hyundai has so far been willing to replace transmission and related parts however no "fix" currently exists. Hyundai employees have been blaming drivers for causing problems even though on multiple occasions driver proven to not be cause. It is a design defect. What happens when my vehicle runs out of warranty? How about the depreciation, with a know lemon transmission? |
