Description of the problem	I was pulled over by a policeman who noticed that all of my rear brake lights were not working. There was no warning light on my dash to notify me of this problem. I took my car to the service department of a hyundai dealership and they said a diode had failed. I was pulled over by a policeman about 2 years ago for the same issue (there was no indication on my dash of the non-working brake lights at that time either). So, this problem has happened twice in the four years that i've driven this car. This is a safety problem because when no rear brake lights illuminate then i'm at risk for a rear-end collision. There should be an indicator light on the dash that informs the driver of non-working rear brake lights. Especially when no rear break lights illuminate (as was my situation).
