| Description of the problem | Last week i was driving my 2009 genesis without any prior incidents or notification, the brakes went out. The car did not stop and it only stopped when i bumped the brakes and pushed the pedal all the way to the floor. Luckily, no car was coming the other direction as the car finally stopped half way in the intersection. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and they advised me the vehicles abs module system failed, not covered under warranty. The cost to replace this part is very expensive. Im very afraid to drive my vehicle. Apparently, hyundai has known about this issue since july 2012. This is a huge safety issue. |
