Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 hyundai genesis coupe. The contact reviewed a service campaign consent letter from the manufacturer, which indicated that the hecu was to be serviced and replaced for all genesis vehicles. When the contact called the manufacturer, they specified that the genesis coupe was not included in that manufacturer campaign. The contact stated that there was a random progressing failure in which the brake pedal was applied, but was slow to respond. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop. The mechanic drained the brakes, replaced the brake pads, and serviced the brake system. The dealer was notified of the brake system failure and indicated that the independent repair shop had not completed the repair correctly.
