| Description of the problem | I bought the car used with 32,500 miles. From day 1 there was a grind going into 5th gear. This was a known problem, but no tsb or recall was ever sent out about it. Just a tsb to change the fluid . At 82,000 miles the 5th gear synchro broke. I had to buy a used transmission from the junk yard and had it installed for $820 total including the transmission, labor and fluid. Why would they claim they have a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, when it only covers the first owner. And why would they know about the 5th gear grind and not do anything about it. |
