Description of the problem	The dealer says this happens when the gas cap is not on properly closed. The check engine light comes on and the esc light comes on. This causes the car to lose power and almost stall. The only way to get the engine running right again is to turn it off and restart after about 30 seconds. This first happened to me on the bqe in brooklyn. This was in 2011 3 months after i purchased the car used from the hyundai dealer second hand. Last week it happened 3 times. I was at a stoplight and when i started up the check engine light went on and the esc light came on and i suddenly i lost power confusing the cars behind me. When i start up again the esc light is out but the check engine light is still on. I find this is dangerous and needs to be corrected. I am afraid this will happen on the highway and i lose power, brakes and power steering!.
