| Description of the problem | I was driving the speed limit when all of sudden my hood flew up, smashed my windshield, thank god i was able to pull over and no one was hurt but, my hood was crunched and my windshield shattered, set up an appt. With hyundai dealership as they told me the latch for hood had been recalled. On my way home stopped for gas, pulled in behind a man with his young child in a car seat when the van just started to accelerate, i couldn't stop, even holding both feet on the brake peddle, my husband reached over and turned the van off. We slammed into the back of the car with the baby in it, again, thank god no one was hurt but had these been different circumstances who knows what would have happened. Have no idea what caused the van to accelerate, and am really afraid of driving now. |
