| Description of the problem | We received notice of the recall of the control arms on our 2007 entourage in december 2013, and immediately took it to the dealer to be repaired. They inspected and "rust proofed" per the instructions in the recall; however, that repair is not sufficient. Yesterday, while driving on a residential street, one of the control arms completely snapped. While it's inconvenient for us to be stranded 3 hours from home and work while our van is being repaired, i'm more concerned that it could have happened while driving on the interstate today, where we could have been severely injured or killed, and possibly have injured or killed someone in another vehicle on the road if a crash had occurred. The only fix for this should be replacement of the control arms. |
