| Description of the problem | The steering column and wheel had a lot of play that got progressively worse. I had a spot that would " pop" when you turn it left or right. That also progressively worsened to the point that i would get a loud clunking noise when i turn the wheel or hit even the slightest bump on the road. I found a lot of similar complaints online for the hyundai's and a large recall for the sonatas and elantras but doesn't include the azera. Its the same exact issue and same part with a defective rubber coupler behind the steering wheel. I paid to have the part repaired yesterday when the two other people on the hyundai work shuttle had their repairs covered by the recall. All 3 of us in that car had the same exact problem ! That's how common it is! How in the world can they not include the azera? |
