Description of the problem	While driving on a 2 lane country road with no shoulder to pull over on my speed dropped from 50 mph to about 10mph. There was no response when i pressed the gas pedal. I had to have my car towed some 43 miles to the hyundai dealer. The problem turned out to be that the throttle position sensor had failed. This failure, had it ocurred on a heavily traveled highway, could have resulted in following vehicles rearending my vehicle because of the sudden reduction in speed. I have reason to believe that the failure of this sensor is not uncommon on hyundai vehicles.
