| Description of the problem | The airbag light came on in my car. I took it into the phil long hyundai dealership in colorado springs and was told that the passenger occupant detection sensor in the front passenger seat was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. At first the service representative was very confident that hyundai would pay for the replacement, but after a phone call he was told that they would not because my vehicle had over 100,000 miles and i was not the original owner. (however, i do believe that this is a defective part because the same thing happened to my sister's hyundai.) the mileage on the car was 117,108 when i had the issue diagnosed. |
