| Description of the problem | I was driving at around 40 mph and preparing to stop at the stoplight. However, upon gradually pressing on my brakes, my car would not stop. Instead, it made loud noises while still running. I had to press it down all the way one or two more times for my car to actually stop. Only then would it stop abruptly. I noticed my make was being recalled for brake issues, however, my specific vin [xxx] was not marked for recall. I would like for more information about this as this is a very concerning issue and i rely on my car heavily for work and service. Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon.
