Description of the problemAt 9808/9809 miles my car developed what i thought was a fuel leak. In close quarters like my garage it is powerful and dangerous in my garage due to a pilot light for the water heater. ( explosion danger). The car was pressure tested and worker suggested it was an additive to las vegas fuel. My car was showing 3 bars filled in the fuel tank. I filled the tank and the smell stopped. 2 weeks later the smell is back. Tank has been filled and yet this time the smell has persisted. Apparently it makes no difference at this point what the fuel level is nor the temperature outside. I only smell this when i am parked in close quarters. There are no other sources of fuel in the garage. At this time (february 7, 2018)i do not smell this odor inside the car.
