Description of the problem	2016 honda hrv - intermittent problem with the car not starting (push button start); key icon remains illuminated. We took it to a dealer who said it must be the battery in the key fob (replaced repeatedly with problem recurring) until finally at 49,000 miles they said it was showing code b12c5 start/stop switch has failed. Diagnosis $144 and replacement $302 total $446. It took 10 days from diagnosis to completed repair because they had to order the part. This was big dealership/service dept. Seems they waited till car was out of warranty and then took their sweet time getting the part while i was wringing my hands wondering if the car would start whenever i went somewhere. Not only annoying but very unsafe! Please recall this part -it appears to be a common problem with hondas.
