Description of the problem	I received a safety recall letter for the vin of my 2019 honda cr-v. The letter clearly informed me to call any authorized honda dealer to make an appointment to have the cable reel and cable reel sub-harness replaced and a protective cover on the steering wheel core installed for free. I called yonkers honda service center and i was told they don't have the required parts to fix the recall issue. After i talked to the dealer, i decided to call american honda motor co. I spoke to a customer service representative named samantha, who responded very unprofessionally and impatiently, told me to call each and every one of all honda dealers to find out who has the parts for the fix. I ended the call with samantha. I called again and spoke to another service rep. I was told that honda has not yet shipped the required parts to any of honda dealers and it will not happen until sometime in october 2019. I was misinformed by the letter to call honda dealers now when the dealers don't even have the parts. Prompt action should be taken before any serious and unpredictable injuries/death due to the defects.
