Description of the problem	While driving leisurely on a winding road called sullivan trail, scotrun pa we received an alert on the vehicle dashboard: "brake system road departure mitigation system problem" (rdms). The rdms button was not on at the time. We were about 2 minutes from home so the vehicle was driven home and parked. At home, we pressed the rdms button and it did not light to engage. Through google search, we found out other honda owners have experienced similar problems at the approximate 5000 mile mark. Our vehicle was purchase brand new at ray price honda in stroudsburg pa in november 2018. It has had one oil service change at the same dealership at the 5000 mile mark. Currently, it has 5570 miles. We understand from an article online that honda does not give warrant on this issue which could cost 3000 to repair. The vehicle is driven mainly for short and careful drives around stroudsburg -- food shopping and the like for our home. With such limited drives, it should surely be more reliable.
