| Description of the problem | I was driving to work on dry roads with light traffic due to it being spring break in atlanta. I was driving at 48 mph and suddenly it was as if someone had stomped on the brakes hard. The car slowed very quickly to 30 mph. A car that was following me at similar speed had to swerve to avoid running into the back of me. There was no car in front of me that could have triggered a breaking response and i did not deviate from my lane either. This was a completely random event. 10 minutes later as i got closer to work the lane diversion warning came on, again with me being rocky steady in my lane. I think the sensors may have been reading any whites lines in the road, like a crosswalk or white lane turn arrow. |
