| Description of the problem | Vehicle is showing an unusual amount of gasoline entering into the oil that lubricates the engine. Have been reading about this issue at numerous sites and took it to dealer today who verified that the oil level has risen above the max mark on the dipstick and it does smell of gasoline. I have had no operational issues thus far but know this is not good for internal engine parts. I have approx. 4200 miles on the vehicle at this point. Dealer acknowledged the problem and documented it on the work order. They also changed the oil at this time. They indicated honda is expecting to release some sort of solution in mid nov and i would be contacted by either the dealer or honda direct. |
