Description of the problem	When i pulled out the dipstick to check my engine oil you could smell gasoline on it. There is gas mixing in with the oil. My vehicle was sitting in my driveway when i checked it. Took it to my dealer and they had me stand with them while he checked and you could smell it then also. They changed the oil and suggested it be changed every 5,000 miles instead of the called for 7,500 miles, until honda releases a fix (supposedly mid november). They also informed me that honda would not cover the extra oil changes. My car was at their facility october 8 and 9, 2018. I was told to check the oil every 1,000 miles and if i see the level above the normal reading to contact them immediately, or if i see my engine light come on. I am concerned about the life of the engine even after the fix is in place. I told both american honda and the dealer that i have a trip planned in early november and i am very concerned about driving this vehicle any long distance, my concerns were with it stalling or just stopping.
