| Description of the problem | Gasoline was contaminating the oil and causing an overfilled crankcase condition. On occasion gasoline fumes entered the cabin in january a honda "fix" was installed by the dealer as part of a honda notification. The oil was changed and a new filter installed at the same time. Since then, the oil level has been continuously monitored with the same over full contamination and gasoline fume problems in existence. The honda "fix" did not solve the problem. Both the dealer and honda have been notified. The continuing problem has been acknowledged, but no solution has been offered or discussed, the problem has been ongoing since we took delivery of the vehicle in june 2018. |
