| Description of the problem | 2018 honda cr-v touring edition with 4,000 miles on it in kansas city, mo. As i was driving down the interstate on the way home from work, an overwhelming smell of gasoline invaded the cabin. As i was only a few miles from home, i kept driving, thinking it may have been from another vehicle. However, the smell remained. When i got home and parked in the garage, i opened the hood, and it was clear my engine was the source of the fumes. Had to keep the garage open for fear the fumes could ignite. Vehicle is currently at the honda dealership for service. Dealer claims they've never experienced this type of issue, and is currently investigating. |
