Description of the problem	2018 honda cr-v gas in the oil beware consumers .... I bought my 2018 honda cr-v in july.... After months of research on what the best small suv would be for me to have in my retirement. Media articles raved about this automobile.... Consumer reports chose it as their suv of the year .... It had this great 1. 5 turbo engine that would get upwards of 27-33 mpg .... It was a complete package .... My dream retirement vehicle ....... The dealer told my husband and i that oil needs to be changed every 7000 miles or so .... My husband is a meticulous mechanic ... He checked the oil at 3000 miles and found it a quart high .... ( huummm... Oil dies not increase .... And it reeked of gas..... Gas in the oil? He started researching possible problems with the cr-v .... And things started to really sour.... Usa honda has apparently known about this issue with the cr-v for quite some time .... They have kept it under the radar.... In china there has been a recall on 350,000 cr-v
